When introducing yourself, there are several expressions you can use:

- Nice to meet you; I'm ...

Introducing Others
When introducing other people, these expressions are commonly used:
- Jack, please meet Nicolas.
- Jack, have you met Nicolas?
- I'd like you to meet Liza.
- I'd like to introduce you to Betty.
- Leila, this is Barbara. Barbara, this is Leila.
Useful Responses
When introduced or introducing yourself, you can respond with:
- Nice to meet you.
- Pleased to meet you.
- Happy to meet you.

Dialogue Example
Alex is introducing himself and others to the new manager and his assistant:
Alex: Hi! My name is Alex Litterman, the new manager.

Things to Remember
- When introducing yourself or others in formal situations, use full names. ("I'm Alex Litterman.")
- "How do you do?" is a formal greeting, not a question.
