شہد کی وہ مکھی جس کی عمر زیادہ ہو جائے وہ رات شہد کے چھتے میں نہیں گزارتی. وہ کسی پھول پر بیٹھ کر رات بھر انتظار کرتی ہے. یہ انتظار طے کرتا ہے کہ موت اس تک پہلے پہنچتی ہے یا صبح.؟ یہ صبح کا سورج اگر دیکھ لے تو رات میں جمع کیا پھول کا رس لے کر اپنے چھتے کی طرف چل پڑتی ہے. شہد کی مکھی بہت خود دار ہوتی ہے. وہ چھتے میں مر کر دوسروں کیلئے بوجھ اور امتحان نہیں بننا چاہتی.

دُنیا میں دوڑ کے مختلف مقابلے ہوتے ہیں. سو میٹر دو سو میٹر سے لے کر میراتھن جیسی ریس جس میں بياليس کلومیٹر تک شرکاء کو دوڑنا ہوتا ہے. ان میں ہی ایک دوڑ OCR کہلاتی ہے. اس دوڑ میں شریک کھلاڑی کے سامنے کہیں دیوار ہوگی تو کہیں کیچڑ کے تالاب سے گزرنا ہوگا. کسی جگہ .اسے رسی پر چڑھنا ہوگا تو کہیں خار دار تاروں کے نیچے سے کھسک کھسک کر گزرنا ہوگا

ریس کوئی بھی ہو اس کی ایک منزل طے ہوتی ہے. کسی ریس میں رفتار کا امتحان ہے تو کسی میں سٹیمنا کو آزمایا جاتا ہے. رکاوٹوں والی ریس میں انسان کی ہمت تدبر تدبیر اور طاقت سب کچھ آزمائش پر آجاتا ہے. زندگی یہی رکاوٹوں والی دوڑ کا نام ہے. زندگی کی اس دوڑ کے بہترین کھلاڑی پھر کون ہوتے ہیں.؟

یہ بہت خود دار اور صبر و ہمت والے لوگ ہوتے ہیں. بلکل شہد کی مکھی کی طرح یہ کسی پر بوجھ نہیں بننا چاہتے. ان کی نظر ہمیشہ منزل پر ہوتی ہے. راستے کی ہر رکاوٹ کو یہ منزل تک پہنچنے کا ایک امتحان سمجھتے ہیں. جس گھر جس معاشرے میں ان کھلاڑیوں کی تعداد زیادہ ہو وہ اس زندگی کی اس .دوڑ میں آگے نکل جاتے ہیں

جہاں خودداری نہ ہو وہ معاشرہ وہ گھر ایک دوسرے کیلئے بوجھ بن جاتا ہے. ایسا بوجھ جو ہر رکاوٹ پر ایک دوسرے کو الزام دیتا ہے. وہ چاہتے ہیں ان کی زندگی کے سامنے کھڑی رکاوٹ کا بوجھ کوئی دوسرا اٹھا لے. اس انتظار میں پھر زندگی جینا مشکل ہوتا ہے. زندگی بلکہ ان پر پھر بیت رہی ہوتی ہے. “اُمید ایک نئی صبح کے انتظار میں بیٹھ جاتی ہے۔
