czar (noun) زار؛ شہنشاہ یا بادشاہ۔

A czar is also a person who has a lot of power in a particular activity

Whichever way opinion goes, one thing is clear: the new finance czar's performance is the most discussed topic in economic circles.

2. stagflation (noun) جمود

an economic situation in which prices keep rising but economic activity does not increase

With an average inflation rate of around 25 per cent and an anticipated GDP growth of just 1-2pc in FY23, Pakistan is suffering from severe stagflation.

3. speculative (adjective) قیاسی

based on a guess and not on information

4. unduly (adverb) بے حیائی سے

more than is necessary, acceptable, or reasonable

to stop something, especially by using force

6. destitute (adjective) مفلس

without money, food, a home, or possessions

7. meagre (adj.) کم

(of amounts or numbers) very small or not enough

Despite his meagre salary, he was content to be able to provide a roof to his family.

8. sombre (adj.) افسردہ

serious, sad, and without humour or entertainment

His voice turned sombre when he talked about his daughters who are living under open sky.
